Quebec Ski Resorts Assoc' AGM Held

During its annual general meeting held on September 13 in Orford, the members of the Association of Quebec Ski Resorts (ASSQ) proceeded with the election of their board of directors. administration for the year 2023-2024. Two administrators are leaving after several years dedicated to the advancement of the board sports industry, namely John Barnowski from Ski Montcalm (Lanaudière) who is leaving after 12 years as well as Louis Philippe Hébert, from the Les Sommets group (Laurentides and Outaouais), who is retiring from the board after 7 years of involvement. The ASSQ warmly thanks them for their great commitment over the years.

The board of directors is thus composed of:

All gathered around the ASSQ Annual General Meeting, members were able to enjoy a fun round of golf at the Mont-Orford Golf Club. The big winner of the day is undoubtedly the iniski and inisurf Foundation at school. The virtual auction made it possible to donate more than $11,000 to this foundation to support various initiatives for developing the next generation of young skiers and snowboarders, thus helping to introduce more than 50,000 people annually across Quebec.
