Quebec’s Ski Passe-Partout: The Way To Save On The Slopes This Winter
ki Passe-Partout has been offered to Quebecers for more than 30 years, offering discounts valid all season in all member resorts of the Association of Ski Resorts of Quebec (ASSQ). In a period where inflation is being felt at all levels, skiers and snowboarders will be reassured to know that not only does Ski Passe-Partout remain at the same price, but that its discounts are even increased this season.
In addition, we can say that over the years, the product has become innovative , just like its industry! In this same vein, from January, holders will now benefit from direct access to ski lifts in more than 20 participating ski resorts , thanks to the integration of RFID technology into Ski Passe-Partout.
5 x 30% x 75 stations = 375 discounts
Here is an equation that will make your eyes widen! By purchasing your Ski Passe-Partout for only $49.99 plus taxes, you benefit from five 30% discounts in each of the ASSQ member resorts . In addition, these discounts are valid at all times, on the category of ticket purchased, even during the holiday and school break periods. Calculation experts will have already demystified that only three trips to the mountains at the adult rate are necessary to make the product profitable.
New! By purchasing it in pre-sale from October 25 to November 30, you obtain the free RFID riding card in addition to having the chance to win one of the prizes offered by the association; $5,500 in prizes to be won.
Big news: RFID technology
First, what is it? Radio identification, better known by the acronym RFID, is a method that allows resorts to identify, by radio waves, the tickets of skiers and snowboarders at the lifts. Thus, there is no need for a person dedicated to checking tickets to manage access to the mountain and what's more, the RFID card is rechargeable and no longer requires printing a ticket for each visit. This innovative technology has many advantages and that is why it is adopted by new ski resorts, year after year.
This year, the ASSQ is working in conjunction with participating resorts and its specialized partners to offer, in particular, Ski Passe-Partout holders, an RFID service using a single card. Thanks to this innovation, from January, the mountain experience of these skiers and snowboarders will be significantly optimized; they will go directly to the lifts upon arrival, thus avoiding the detour via the ticket office and possible queues.
Ski Passe-Partout, also a social mission
Many people are unaware that Ski Passe-Partout is much more than a traditional sales product. It is one of the association's main sources of funding, allowing buyers to contribute to the development of tomorrow's skiers. Each year, the ASSQ introduces more than 40,000 children to snow sports free of charge through its various programs in place such as Iniski and Inisurf, Maneige Experience, as well as the Snowboard Tour in Quebec schools.
