Qantas Now Flying Direct To Sapporo From Sydney
Direct flights from Sydney to Sapporo have just been added for the ski season, so it’s even easier to hit the famous slopes in Hokkaido like Niseko, Furano, Rusutsu, Kiroro and more.

The new Qantas seasonal service will operate three direct flights departing Sydney every week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays for travel from 16 December 2019 to 28 March 2020.

Niseko

Rusutsu is a typical ski resort born of the 1980s ski boom in Japan; that is, a large ski resort with a large purpose built hotel at the base and very little else. Being only an hour bus ride from Niseko, Rusutsu shares its neighbour’s exceptional snowfall, however with smaller crowds.
