Private Mountain Event At Tschuggen Grand Hotel, Arosa: 1-4 December 2022

Ever wanted your own private ski slope? This December, Tschuggen Grand Hotel is hosting their annual Private Mountain Event from 1-4 December which offers guests the unique chance to enjoy exclusive access to the Hörnli ski resort in Arosa. On Friday 2 December, guests will have the opportunity to ski the first snow of the season, before all the other tourists in Arosa and before the official opening of the ski resort. 

This three-night event will be filled with exciting activities and adventures all centered around this year's theme of a ‘Winter Fairytale’. Guests will see Arosa transform into a magical winter wonderland, filled with dancing snow angels, festive music and endless culinary highlights.  

New this year: One exciting activity guests won’t want to miss is The Gondola Spa being introduced this year. Experience mesmerizing spa treatments in the sky, enjoy a shoulder or foot massage in the Urdenbahn Gondola over 2,500 metres above sea level with unique views of the surrounding mountains.  

Whilst exploring the pristine pistes of Arosa, guests will have the opportunity to experience coaching from the former Swiss Ski racer Dider Cuche and the chance to test out top manufacturer, HEAD’s latest ski range. Off the mountain, and after a long day of skiing, signature winter cocktails will be served at the Après Ski Champagne Party and delicious alpine inspired delights at the celebratory dinner.  

Thanks to the Tschuggen Express, the hotel’s own mountain railway, guests will be able to explore through exclusive Ski-In/Ski-Out facilities, allowing for even more time skiing the empty slopes! 

Tschuggen Grand Hotel is part of The Tschuggen Collection who are celebrating 100 years of welcoming guests at their Swiss hotels during the upcoming winter season. 

The Private Mountain Package is a three-night event taking place from 1-4 December 2022.  

The actual Private Mountain Event where guests will ski exclusively on the empty slopes of Arosa/Lenzerheide ski area takes place on 2nd December. 

The package includes:

• 3 nights on a half board basis, including an Après Ski Champagne Party and Private Mountain Celebratory Dinner  
• Participation in the Private Mountain Event on Friday 2nd December: exclusive skiing on the empty slopes of the Arosa/Lenzerheide ski area and evening event  
• Skiing on Saturday 3rd December 
• Free access to the unique Tschuggen Bergoase Spa with holistic spa concept and a wide selection of included fitness courses  
• Free use of the hotel's own Tschuggen Express mountain railway
