Prinoth Clients Win At The 23rd ‘Skiareatest’

The presentation of the Winter Awards 2017/18 – already in their 23rd. year – and the award for pistes and seal of quality for toboggan runs took place on Thursday 26th April 2018 at Lake Achensee. The coveted trophies are presented to ski resorts and destinations that are marked out by their outstanding quality. These qualities can come under a wide variety of headings, such as friendliness of the staff, safety, events, fun and action and, of course, the quality of the slopes. 

The winners were celebrated in a festive atmosphere with music and a gala dinner on the event ship MS Achensee. 

Prinoth is particularly proud that an extraordinarily large number of their customers were awarded the GOLD Slope Quality Seal, and some even received several GOLDs. Thus for example, the Axamer Lizum Ski Paradise (“International Slope Quality Seal GOLD”), whose slopes are prepared exclusively by Prinoth ; likewise their partners, Reiteralm Mountain Railways. The Reiteralm, whose attractions have since recently included Prinoth Crosspark, won not only the distinction, “International Slope Quality Seal four times GOLD” but also the “Experience and Family Ski Resort 2018 Austria”. 

Also, the Swiss Lenk Mountain Railways, who rely solely on PRINOTH quality, can be pleased with their many awards: not only the International Slope Quality Seal triple GOLD and the International Toboggan Run Seal, but also the Ski Patrol and Ski Driver Seal of Quality went to Lenk Mountain Railways. In further categories, such as friendliness of staff and safety, the judges additionally hailed the Bern Ski Resort as SKIAREATEST CHAMPION 2018! 

The Skiareatest Team has been operating in the Alpine region for nearly a quarter-century and scrutinizes tourist destinations carefully and anonymously. Around 220 members of varying professions and nationalities rigorously test winter sport resorts in Austria, Bavaria, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia and France.
