Planks is a movement of humans creating change through skiing. The mountains bring together a community of obsessive riders, roamers and revellers and we’re stoked to get back out there. Planks was founded on, and has always been driven by purpose. Back in 2008, when snowboarding was dominating, we wanted to create something that represented freeskiing; Planks was born.
Planks’ early life was screen-printed logo tees sold to Val d’Isère locals and seasonnaires out of the back of our founder Jim Adlington’s van. They sold well and the skiing community backed it. It was a hustle, it was roots, it was Planks.
