At the start of the ski season, the winter holiday website pistenhotels.info has awarded the 50 best hotels with direct access to the ski slopes with the pistenhotels.info Award 2025.

For the coveted award, which has already been presented for the fifth time , there were more than 900 hotels from all over the Alps to choose from. First and second place went to two establishments in Obertauern, the Hotel Kristall and the Hotel Schneider. They are followed by the Perfeldhof (3rd place, Hinterglemm), the Hotel Tirol alpin spa ( 4th place, Ischgl) and the K1 Mountain Chalet (5th place, Bruneck). "Our award recognises those hotels that are located directly on the ski slopes and offer their guests an exceptional winter experience. To do this, we carefully compared the facilities and offerings of the hotels and analyzed guest satisfaction in detail."
The additional services offered, such as ski rental, ski service, ski courses and guided ski tours, were also important in the evaluation. In addition to the reviews on pistenhotels.info guest opinions from Google, TripAdvisor and HolidayCheck were also evaluated and included in the ranking.
