PillerseeTal Will Become The Hub Of The Hiking World From March 9th To 12th, 2023

From March 9th to 12th, 2023, the PillerseeTal will become the hub of the hiking world. Tyrol is hosting the European Winter Hiking Days for the third time. In addition to joint exploration tours, the program includes numerous activities related to the most popular off-piste winter sport.

After events in St. Johann in Tirol and Kartitsch, the European winter hiking scene will meet in late winter 2023 in the PillerseeTal holiday region, affectionately known as the "snow hole" . Nowhere else in Tyrol are the winters as long and snowy as here. Nestled between the Kitzbühel Alps and the Loferer Steinberge, the towns of Fieberbrunn, Hochfilzen, St. Jakob in Haus, Waidring and St. Ulrich am Pillersee can look forward to an incredible 6.71 meters of fresh snow each winter. This makes the region a paradise for everyone who prefers to enjoy the Tyrolean snow on foot.

The trend towards this health-promoting outdoor activity has long been recognized in PillerseeTal and a network of 100 kilometers of winter hiking trails has been created in recent years. You can explore part of it together with other hikers as part of the European Winter Hiking Days from March 9th to 12th, 2023 . In addition, the PillerseeTal scores with a varied supporting program.
