Pillerseetal Promotes Safety In Advertising Campaign
The desire for a change of scenery, for a winter holiday in the snow and relaxation is greater than ever this year. The longing for activities in the great outdoors is particularly high among the guests. In the PillerseeTal you can see a great opportunity here and therefore focus on natural topics and shared nature experiences in small, manageable groups. Together with the regional partners, the tourism association has put together a varied program for the winter. In addition to the existing winter and snowshoe hikes, offers have been created that ensure special, unforgettable moments in the PillerseeTal. Llama trekking through the snow-covered winter landscape or “ reading tracks in the winter forest ”, for example, promises animal pleasure and not only the children are guaranteed to get sparkling eyes on romantic torch and lantern hikes . As one of the top cross-country skiing destinations in Tyrol, the region naturally also offers numerous new experiences in the Nordic sector .
In addition to the guest biathlon and the cross-country taster courses, there will also be a guided cross-country pleasure tour for the first time, which leads in the footsteps of the world champions through the snow-covered mountains and ends with a delicious afternoon snack. Those who prefer to set off early will find perfectly groomed trails as early as sunrise with Early Bird Cross-Country Skiing . Skiers can also practice the early start this winter. In small, manageable groups led by your own guide, the “First Line” in Fieberbrunn (from January) starts at 7.30 am and ends with a balanced breakfast and a magnificent view of the awakening mountains. Those who prefer to experience the morning hours on touring skis will discover their personal happiness with the guided “Early Morning Breakfast” ski tour in Fieberbrunn. The evening events have also been completely redesigned. Instead of amazing ski shows, it is now time to experience snow nights . The legendary Fieberbrunn Snow Night is celebrating a revival in Fieberbrunn. Originally brought to life by the “tow trucks”, it is now making its comeback at the Obingleitn lift by floodlights with night skiing, fun sports equipment and a varied culinary offer. In Waidring, on the other hand, the “Jib Garden” is a small, elegant night snow park with floodlights on the local mountain.
For those who prefer to set out on their own, the interactive tour map offers a large selection of suggestions including GPX data and a practical checklist for planning.
Create booking security
In order to give the guests the highest possible security and to create trust, the TVB PillerseeTal is again relying on the " Vacation, but 5icher !" Campaign, which has already proven itself in the summer. The message “ 1 region and 5 good reasons ” is intended to create awareness among guests that everything is being done in the PillerseeTal to ensure a safe and eventful holiday in the region. The focus of the campaign is on the new, near-natural offers and the security of booking and cancellation . Whereby the free cancellation , which is also possible at short notice up to 2 days before departure , is certainly the decisive point. But also the uncomplicated online booking and the excellent range of public transport - including the free use of the ÖBB local trains from Hochfilzen to Wörgl - represent a clear advantage for the guest. In addition, snow reliability is an important topic on winter holidays, in the snowiest region of Tyrol also plays an important role in communication.
Security in implementation
The security in the implementation of all offers within the region naturally comes first. For this purpose, a task force was set up in the PillerseeTal, consisting of representatives of the mountain railways, municipalities and the tourism association. Concrete measures for the respective areas were worked out together and their implementation is organized accordingly. The mountain railways in particular have already taken important steps with an extensive safety package. In addition, the task force has developed recommendations for action for service providers and partners in the region in order to provide them with the best possible support.
All information on the topic has already been prepared and made available at www.pillerseetal.at/corona . In addition, a separate Corona hotline will be set up on 05354-208 55 from December 1st, 2020.
