PillerseeTal Offers Nightime Summer Concerts And Entertainment

Concerts in the PillerseeTal ensure entertaining evenings, as do the many other weekly highlights. Thanks to additional measures by the TVB and the exemplary behavior of the visitors, all weekly events can also be held in the second half of the summer.

The weekly events have been an important meeting point for guests and locals in the PillerseeTal for many years. This summer, too, the popular events have been carried out successfully so far, albeit with significantly more effort, as Mario Horngacher from the TVB PillerseeTal explains: "We have a team from the TVB at every event that ensures compliance with the corona regulations - in particular the distance - ensures. “While it is relatively easy to handle at events with seats, such as the open concerts or music on the mountain, the TVB team has to be much more careful with the games and strolling nights or the soul light. “In principle, however, the visitors behave in an exemplary manner and the children are also astonishingly careful,” continues Horngacher. Thanks to the extremely positive feedback and the successful implementation in the first half of the summer, the tourism association is now looking forward to the second half of the season. “Of course, the measures mean additional work. However, the weekly events are a very important point in our summer offer, so we are happy to be able to carry out everything as planned, ”said Horngacher.

From enjoying music to fun games
The weekly program in the PillerseeTal is hard to beat in terms of variety, even in August. The region offers one of the popular events practically every day. The family highlights await on Monday and Tuesday with games and adventure nights in Waidring and the strolling night in Fieberbrunn, with a great animation program, local bands and great play stations. Music and culinary connoisseurs get their money's worth from Wednesday to Friday. Music and local delicacies are on the program for music on the mountain, open-air concerts, market days or “Timok's Long Friday”. With “Timoks Long Friday” the coaster is free from 6 pm. Admission to the games and adventure night, the strolling night and the Seeleuchten is free and a free shuttle bus will run again this year for all three evening events.
