Pillerseetal: Freeride World Tour Fieberbrunn Ready For Multi-day Festival Again

Back in the Tyrolean freeride Mecca: From March 9th to 12th, the Freeride World Tour will once again be in charge in Fieberbrunn. The spectacular contest is framed by a multi-day festival that offers exclusive insights into the world of freeriding and lots of festival flair. The second edition of the Freeride Talk will start on Thursday, March 9th .

From March 9th to 12th, the only World Cup stop for freeriders in German-speaking countries will once again bring the world's best in this impressive sport to Tyrol and thus to the freeriding stronghold of Fieberbrunn in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn for the 12th time. The hotspot of the Freeride World Tour is the northern slope of the Wildseeloder (2119 m), where the riders fight for points in a best-of-two-runs format. The contest face presents itself as more than worthy: steep and rocky, with a vertical drop of 620 meters and an incline of up to 70 degrees, the slope is considered one of the most spectacular on the contest calendar. Spectators can be there live on the competition day, which will be determined depending on the weather (scheduled for March 11), and join in the excitement right in the finish area in the contest village near the Wildalmen.

When the Freeride World Tour makes a stop in Tyrol, there is also a lot to do apart from the contest, in addition to the spectacular lines from the Wildseeloder. The hub of the Freeride Festival Fieberbrunn is the Event Village at the Streuboden valley station and the directly adjacent official Riders Hotel "TUI Blue". In the event village, freeride fans have the opportunity, among other things, to test the latest equipment from a wide variety of brands. The official Riders Hotel will also open its doors to everyone again. The Riders Lounge and the Freeride Garden await you there with cocktails, DJ sessions, barbeque and direct contact with the stars of the scene.

A real highlight will also be the second edition of one of the largest freeride talks in the German-speaking region, which marks the start of the festival week on Thursday, March 9th. This is where athletes, well-known personalities and legends from the freeride and alpine sector meet and talk about competition, content, risk management and much more. Interested parties can take part in the talk live on site or get important virtual tips and tricks from the insiders.
