Pats Peak Promotes Three
Pats Peak has announced promotions to the senior management team. Cameron Stanley joins the Pats Peak management team as the Assistant Culinary Services Director. Brigid Howell has been promoted to the Director of Guest Services and Sarah Demmons has been promoted to the Director of Base Area Services.
This Assistant Culinary Services Director is a new position created to assist the Director of Culinary Services. Stanley was hired in the culinary services department at Pats Peak in November 2020 and has been promoted to this new position. In his role he is responsible for all hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision of culinary services staff. Stanley learned how to snowboard at Pats Peak when he was young and still loves it to this day. In addition to snowboarding, he engages with nature by going on walks and hikes. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Celeste, playing board games, going on road trips, sightseeing, spending time with family, and living their life to the fullest.
"I feel honored to be able to learn from Chef Guy Pelletier and the other seasoned employees, as I embark on this new chapter in my life. I am excited to contribute to the growth of Pats Peak and join this small, yet impactful community," says Cameron Stanley.
Howell has been part of the Pats Peak team for 13 years. She brings to this position her previous experiences as a manager in the pub, ski school and banquet departments. In this new role, she will oversee various departments including ski school administration, guest services, rental shop, retail shop, pub and courtesy greeters. In addition, she is responsible for coordinating and executing banquets and weddings. In the winter when she isn't skiing, she is spending her time on the slopes learning to snowboard. She also enjoys vacationing with her husband, two children and three loveable Labradors.
“I am very excited to take this next step. Pats Peak is my second family and I can’t imagine being anywhere else. It really is my home,” remarks Brigid Howell.
Demmons has 15 years of service at Pats Peak. While at the mountain, she has been a manager in snowmaking, lift operations and most recently, Assistant Director of Mountain Operations. In her new position, she will be responsible for lift operations, parking services, snowtubing park, ticket checkers, safety services, cultural exchange program, special events, landscaping and night operations management. She enjoys any adventurous outdoor activities and spending time with her family and her dog.
“I am so grateful for this opportunity. The mountain operations team is an amazing group of people and together we will meet this new challenge as a team. I am honored, excited and ready! Let’s do this!! Think Snow!,” says Sarah Demmons.
“I take great pride in promoting Brigid, Cameron and Sarah. They have all displayed great leadership traits and have gone above and beyond in their previous positions. I know they will help in the effort to bring Pats Peak to an even higher level of service,” comments Kris Blomback, General Manager of Pats Peak.
