Park City Mountain Announces Summer 2023 Operation Details
Following a historic winter with record-breaking snowfall, Park City Mountain is excited to announce it will begin summer operations on Friday, June 16 at the Park City Mountain Village Adventure Park, and summer operations will begin on Friday, June 30 at Canyons Village.
“Park City Mountain offers a vibrant summer backdrop and we’re excited to offer a variety of activities that let our guests and community enjoy the outdoors,” said Deirdra Walsh, vice president and COO of Park City Mountain. “We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Park City Mountain for our fun and adventurous summer events and activities.”
The Adventure Park is located at Park City Mountain Village and offers activities including the Alpine slide, mountain coaster, mini-golf, gem panning, and more. On-mountain summer activities include scenic lift rides, mountain biking, and hiking. Activities opened seven days a week, from 10 am until 7 pm from June 16 through September 4, and Thursday – Sunday, from 11 am until 6 pm from September 7 until October 1.
Crescent Express bike haul is anticipated to open June 30, as trail conditions permit due to snowpack. Park City Mountain partners closely with Mountain Trails Foundation for summer trail stewardship and access. “We know our community is excited to get back out on the trails and we are closely monitoring trail conditions following this season’s historic snowfall,” said Lora Smith, executive director of Mountain Trails Foundation. “We plan to open trails as soon as they are safely rideable for the season.”
Canyons Village will open for summer operations on June 30 and will be open seven days a week, running from 10 am until 7 pm through September 4. Summer activities at Canyons Village include scenic gondola rides, hiking, mountain biking, disc golf, and more. This summer the Red Pine Gondola will be debuting new gondola cabins.
