For the first time, ORTOVOX pairs the insulative and lightweight properties of duck down with the moisture-regulating benefits of alpine wool in its proprietary DownWool technology. This 70/30 blend of premium down from Poland and wool from alpine sheep delivers unmatched warmth, lightweight performance, and reliable insulation even in humid conditions. Unlike traditional down that loses loft when wet, DownWool® increases volume by up to 30 percent in high-humidity environments, ensuring maximum comfort and insulation for freeriders in challenging weather.
Additionally, the introduction of MetaWool, sourced from merino sheep in Germany, offers another innovative step in sustainable insulation.
