Official opening Of E-Bike Riding Center In Ischgl Goes Ahead

The Paznaun is starting the summer of 2024 with an exciting highlight for (e-)mountain bikers. On July 6, the prototype of a world first was presented and opened on the terrace and ice rink of the Silvretta Therme Ischgl: the E-Bike Riding Center Ischgl with a riding course and measuring stations for analyzing riding technique. Further project steps and technical additions to the E-Bike Riding Center will be made until the final completion in 2026.

How safe am I on an e-bike? How do I skillfully avoid obstacles on trails? Or how can I best approach steep mountain terrain? The E-Bike World Federation (EBWF) and the Paznaun - Ischgl bike region answer these and other open questions with the innovative E-Bike Riding Center in Ischgl. Here, riding skills are measured and analyzed using the latest technology as you ride through. Every day between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., everyone can take an individual test for 4.99 euros per person.

"In recent years, we have made extensive investments in the field of biking in order to further expand our range of varied routes with different levels of difficulty. The new bike trail park in Galtür, two new trails in the Silvretta Bike Arena Ischgl/Samnaun and the newly opened E-Bike Riding Center underline our claim to play a pioneering role here," says Alexander von der Thannen, chairman of the Paznaun - Ischgl Tourist Association.

"With the E-Bike Riding Center, we have succeeded in creating a world first that combines fun and exercise. By precisely analyzing the riding technique on the riding course, bike enthusiasts feel safer and better prepared on their rides," explains Mike Petter, deputy shop manager of Bründl Sports Ischgl, representing Christoph Walser, management of Bründl Sports Ischgl.

The construction of the world's unique riding course will take place gradually until 2026. A prototype is already available on the terrace of the Silvretta Therme in Ischgl. The E-Bike Riding Center is operated by Bründl Sports in close cooperation with the Paznaun - Ischgl Tourist Association, the Silvretta Therme Ischgl and the E-Bike World Federation.
