Off Peak Week Aims To Help Fill The Spaces On Low Season Dates
Off Peak Week – a travel agency that is helping accommodation providers in ski resorts to fill their empty beds, has launched new properties in their portfolio for this winter.
Launched just two years ago, Off Peak Week is a one-stop-shop portal for skiers and snowboarders who are looking for a well-priced ski holiday in Europe. With many chalets, hotels and apartments left with empty rooms during the lower part of the season, the chance for tour operators and property owners to include their accommodation in one place means that consumers can find the very best deals online for their winter sports holidays.
With flexible dates that include week long or shorter trips, Off Peak Week is helping to fulfil a crucial role that helps encourage holidaymakers who don’t need to travel in school holiday or peak season times to save money and compare prices across a variety of resorts, all in one place.
With six countries now covered, including France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Andorra and Bulgaria and 25 individual ski resorts, plans are to expand the portfolio and bring on new partners and properties over the next 12 months.
Sarah Kemp, Marketing Director of Off Peak Week, said: “We are still new and the past couple of winters have been about testing our platform and getting our ski resorts and partners online. Now we are really launching into the market, it’s an exciting time, and we are already seeing an increase in interest and sales from people who understand that through Off Peak Week they can save money on their ski holiday. We will be running lots of special offers through the winter and continuing to increase our destinations, properties and hopefully awareness with the public who want to ski and snowboard in the less busy times of the winter”.
