Oberstdorf 2021 To Organise International Youth Camp During Championships
The German Ski Federation (DSV) and the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2021 are organising a Youth Camp for 13 to 17-year-olds during the championships. Young people from all over the world can experience the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships on-site.
Not only will they experience the athletes and highest-level winter sports up-close, but they can also meet people from different cultures and get to know more about snow sport practices in other countries. The participants will get the chance to exchange snow sports experiences with each other and make friends from all over the world.
Participants have to be between 13 and 17 years old, have an interest in snow sports, motivation to participate in an intercultural exchange, have good English skills and voluntary engagement in sports as well as an interest to find out more about a big sports event.
A total of 56 participants will get the chance to take part in the camp in two waves: 24.02.-01.03. and 02.03.-07.03.2021. Interested participants can apply until 31.05.2020 by sending the application form to Bettina Haueisen at the DSV office.
