FIS Staff Changes

FIS is pleased to announce the appointment of Christian Wegener as its new Chief Financial & Administrative Officer. The German native started his duties with FIS mid October.

Wegener brings a wealth of financial experience to the role. He previously worked at Procter & Gamble ending his 13 years there as the CFO of its Gilette Plant. Following that, he moved onto Mastercard as the Director, Business Planning & Analysis Europe, a position he held for three years. Most recently, he was the Global Head of FP&A and Controlling at start-up company N26.

The multi-lingual talent speaks German, English and French after living several years in the Geneva area together with his wife and two children.

FIS would also like to take the opportunity to announce a new role within the FIS Family as Sandra Spitz will add to her existing responsibilities and will now be the Sport & Event Director. Spitz is a familiar face within FIS, having spent 15 years within the Cross-Country team before moving into the role of Event Director two years ago.

FIS would also like to welcome:

  • John Lands who will start as an IT Technical Expert at the start of November.
  • Cross Media Coordinator Sanna Lüdi who has already started in her position.
  • Louise Seppey who will being at the start of December as the Communication Coordinator
  • Katharina Zobrist who has started as the FIS M&M Assistant
