North Face Launches Dawn Turn Collection, Providing The Perfect Ski Touring Kit

Today The North Face launched the Dawn Turn collection, providing the perfect Ski Touring kit for your winter adventures.

Designed specifically for ski touring, the layering system provides unbeatable technology woven together to keep you moving further for longer, keeping you warm, dry and moving freely.

The 50/50 insulation in the Dawn Turn Jacket pairs a series of ultra-cosy synthetic insulation fibre-proof baffles with highly air-permeable face fabric to create a ground-breaking breathable insulation layer. The synthetic insulation-filled baffles are equally interspersed to deliver enhanced breathable insulation and temperature regulation to keep you both warm and dry.

Winner of the ‘innovation category’ at the ISPO Awards, the Dawn Turn 50/50 jacket was described as, “A perfect companion for high aerobic activities in cold and wet environments that effectively manages heat and moisture.”

The DryVent™ 2.5-layer shell is the reliable outlet layer keeping snow and wind at bay whilst the Dawn Turn Hybrid Ventrix™ Midlayer works to breath as hard as you do, whether breaking trail on the ascent or cruising through powder on the return down.

Ventrix™ fabric is carefully body-mapped with perforations that open as you move, allowing perspiration to escape and remain closed in times of rest, to retain warmth.

Each technology is carefully chosen to provide warmth at rest or on the descent, and heat regulation during high-intensity ski tours in extreme alpine conditions, allowing heat and moisture to escape for enhanced temperature regulation.
