The whole region in one app: Just in time for the start of the main summer travel season at the beginning of July, Zell am See-Kaprun launched the destination's new app. With this first sub-project of a large digitization process, the entire region is made compact and can be experienced conveniently and conveniently on the smartphone when you are out and about. With the app, all users have all the most important information about opening times, excursion destinations and digital tour planning, restaurant information and the weather available quickly and easily.
Easy handling and great added value
The new Zell am See-Kaprun app is characterized by the highest standards of quality design and simple and clear user guidance. Since the beginning of July, it has been the ideal companion for a holiday in the region between glaciers, mountains and lakes and can also be used by locals. The new digital holiday companion contains all the experiences, sports, shopping and rental options, all information about the Zell am See-Kaprun summer card and the events in the region, as well as all restaurants, cafes and bars can be seen at a glance. All hikes, bike tours and trail running routes can be clearly searched for in the app. The user will find a description of the tour with pictures, receive up-to-date information on the weather, the lake temperature and when he can take the last mountain railway down to the valley. In the clear map of Zell am See-Kaprun, the guest has the option of navigating directly to the respective destination or spot with Google Maps. The app also contains a digital mobility card that allows guests to use all public transport in the region free of charge. This digital mobility card is integrated into a Zell am See-Kaprun user account, which in the future will be the basis for guest-centered and individualized communication at the destination.
25,000 uses since launch
The Zell am See-Kaprun app has been available for download in the Google PlayStore for Android and in the AppStore for Apple since the beginning of July. The app has already recorded 25,000 active uses since its launch. The quality of the application was confirmed by the users and is currently rated with 5 stars in the Apple AppStore.
With the new Zell am See-Kaprun app, the digital service for the guest has been significantly expanded, creating great added value for the user. The focus is 100% on the guest: With every interaction, behavior-based suggestions and information in the digital holiday companion become more precise. Together with the dialogue forge from Vienna as a strategic partner, this innovative, holistic digital service concept was developed for the region. The technically flawless and timely implementation of the project was made possible by the development teams from General Solutions and Conecto. The aim in developing this digital solution was to enable the most individualized possible care of the guests and thus to stand out in addition to the unique offers also through digital services. The Zell am See-Kaprun app is currently being further developed for the winter season in order to provide guests in the region with all the information in this area as well.
