New French Sales Agency For Arbor Snowboards
Open Ocean Sports GmbH, distributor for the American label Arbor Snowboards, will start into 2018 with a new sales agency for the French market. Arbor Snowboards has been around for almost 23 years now and is known for high quality products that combine performance, craftsmanship and sustainable design.
Starting January 1, 2018 Mountains & Waves (M&W) will take over the representation of Arbor Snowboards on the French market. M&W has a long history in the representation of high end snowboarding and winter sports brands. They represent brands such as Upz, Kessler, F2 And 10Peaks. The founder of M&W, David Picamoles, has been working in the industry in France from day 1 and was mainly responsible for the launch of Oxygen Snowboards in France in 1992. In 1994 he set up the French FLOW Snowboards distribution and was later responsible for the FLOW distribution throughout Europe.
The addition of Arbor SnowboardS was only a logical step from him when he was offered the opportunity he says. “I always choose brands that have a story to them, a real DNA. For me Arbor has always been a unique brand. The Power Ply wood veneer top sheets, the various exciting shapes and the quality of the boards have always drawn my attention. In addition to that, the great mix of team riders, from the very talented young guns and top notch riders in their prime to true legends like Bryan Iguchi, makes the brand very appealing to the core snowboarders, weekend warriors as well as to the ‘old riders’ like myself.
