New Additions To LAAX Senda Dil Dragun Treetop Walk

A 30-metre “Vertical Drop” and 220-metre long zipline have been added to the world’s longest treetop walk

From August 2024, the “Senda dil Dragun”, or “Path of the Dragon” treetop walk welcomes two thrilling new additions, the “Vertical Drop” and a 220-metre long zipline. The two experiences can be accessed from the entrance tower to the treetop walk in Laax Murschetg, welcomes adults and children over six-years old and will be open until the end of the summer season in October.

The Vertical Drop consists of a plummet of 30-metres at a controlled speed, from the top to the bottom of the tower, for the ultimate adrenaline-rush. The 220-metre zipline allows guests to fly across the rocksresort PARK, across two parallel cables, preventing any rotation during the ride. The zipline begins at the start of the treetop walk entrance tower and ends at the creche above rocksresort.

The walkway is already home to a 73-metre-long slide, which visitors can use to spiral down from the trees above back to earth, designed for the whole family to experience. Four platforms with seating spaced throughout and a unique view of the iconic alpine landscape also offer a refreshing natural experience for the whole family, with opportunities to teach visitors about the local history, flora and fauna thanks to information boards along the way.

In keeping with the region’s green and sustainable ethos, the treetop walk is built entirely from regionally sourced wood, designed to blend in with the surrounding nature, therefore keeping the impact on the environment to a minimum. During the winter months the walkway is freed of snow using an electric snowblower, both quieter and more sustainable than a gas-operated alternative, enabling visitors to use the walkway year-round. The entire walkway is wheelchair accessible, with lifts at both ends of the path that take guests from the ground up to the walkway above.

Guests can purchase a Treetop Walk All-in day ticket from £45.00, allowing for unlimited access to the treetop walk, slide, zipline, vertical drop and rocksresort PARK. There is also a Treetop Walk Action 2x of your choice, allowing guests to choose from two activities from £16.00pp. All tickets are available in the LAAX app and via its website, as well as in the ticket office at the treetop walk at rocksresort.
