New 10 Seater Streuoboden Gondola From Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn Officially Opened!

After intensive planning and construction, the new 10-seater Streuböden cable car from the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn was recently officially opened!

The ultra-modern facility sets new standards in comfort, technology and accessibility. Thanks to the direct connection from the Fieberbrunn cable car car park to the Lärchfilzkogel (1,654 m), guests can now enjoy the slopes without having to change trains - a real gain in quality and convenience.

With generous capacity, weather-protected stations and sustainable materials such as wood and PV elements, the cable car blends seamlessly into the alpine landscape. The barrier-free planning and newly designed toilet facilities also offer maximum comfort for all guests, including families and people with reduced mobility.

Highlights of the new Streubödenbahn

The new Streuböden cable car developed by Doppelmayr brings state-of-the-art cable car technology to the Fieberbrunn ski area. With its capacity, speed and design, it sets new standards:

• Maximum capacity: The cable car can carry up to 2,500 people per hour – more than twice as many as its predecessor. This increase in capacity significantly reduces waiting times, even during peak times of the ski season.
• Speed: The cable car reaches an impressive speed of max. 6 meters per second, which enables a particularly fast ascent to the Lärchfilzkogel. The journey time is therefore only a few minutes.
• Cabin comfort: The total of 91 Omega V cabins offer space for 10 people each. The cabins impress with their generous panoramic glazing and ergonomic seats. The striking Ferrari red design also ensures unmistakable recognition - and speaking of recognition: the new Streuböden cable car also underlines the company's values ​​with its own Pride gondola.
• Cable car technology: The most modern drive technology from Doppelmayr ensures particularly quiet and efficient operation.
• Station design: The valley and mountain stations are equipped with the iconic Doppelmayr station rooms. The wooden shingle facade gives the buildings a modern, yet natural appearance that blends harmoniously into the alpine surroundings.

Melzer & Hopfner has been implementing cable car projects at the highest level since 1993. The 10EUB Streuböden is the 39th project in this impressive ski area. With this new cable car, the Skicircus is strengthening its position as one of the leading ski destinations worldwide - modern, sustainable and future-oriented.
