Mt. Hood Meadows To Host Provide To Ride FISH Food Bank Benefit Dec. 17

Mt. Hood Meadows will host its 3rd Annual Provide to Ride food drive on Tuesday, Dec. 17, to help benefit the Hood River FISH Food Bank during the holiday season.

This event provides a great opportunity to get an awesome deal on a lift ticket to Meadows, as well as help local families in need. Each guest who brings 24 cans of food or two hams to the resort on Dec. 17 will receive a free lift ticket to ride that same day from 9 AM - 4 PM. Alternatively, guests can purchase a specially priced lift ticket for $49 to ride that day, $44 of which will be donated to FISH.

Those who already have a Season Pass to Meadows who want to donate but don't need the lift ticket can bring the required donation amount and a friend, who can then use the lift ticket that day.

Meadows is hoping for a similar turnout for Provide to Ride as in previous seasons, which combined have netted nearly 10,000 pounds of food and more than $50,000 for FISH. The food bank has locations in Hood River, Cascade Locks, and Parkdale, and serves about 600 families in the region each month.
