Montane Unveils Cutting-Edge AW24 Collection,

British performance clothing and equipment brand, Montane, today announces the launch of its AW24 collection, which centres on technical breathable performance engineered to empower its wearer to move fast and light, no matter the environment.

Featuring innovations in waterproof fabric technology, the products follow a clean, timeless design aesthetic with only necessary design elements that remain relevant.

Montane’s Marketing Director, Matthew Hickman, commented: “The AW24 collection is built to push the limits with fewer distractions so that we can immerse ourselves in the nature around us. Taking inspiration from the outdoor spaces where we test our products, we have developed a range that will endure and that sync with the wearer for guaranteed shelter.”

From base layers to outer shells, Montane’s AW24 collection is designed to function as a cohesive layering system, which allows for moisture management through each layer, maximising performance and minimising weight.

PETRICHOR TECHNOLOGY: ‘Ultimate breathability, guaranteed shelter’

Through new Torren and Cetus Lite jackets, Montane introduces PETRICHOR TECHNOLOGY, a 100% waterproof, PFAS and PFC-free 3-layer fabric developed by textile experts at Montane. Some description The technology manages the microclimate of the wearer to work harder in extreme conditions while delivering unrestricted freedom of movement.

The new technology provides a windproof, non-porous hydrophilic membrane that transports water vapour and moisture away from the body, with a 100% recycled Nylon 21D Ripstop face fabric, and a durable Tricot lining.

Every Adventure Covered

The collection delivers high-performance technical clothing, equipping adventurers for a wide range of activities, from hiking and ski-touring to trail running and mountaineering. For alpine challenges where every gram matters, the ultralight Alpine 850 Nano Hooded Down Jacket with ExpeDRY goose down offers exceptional insulation.

For ski-touring in sub-zero temperatures, the GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER Nordes Hooded Softshell Jacket and Pants, along with the versatile GORE-TEX ePE Hardshell Niveus Lite Jacket, form a dedicated capsule.

Designed to integrate seamlessly with Montane’s advanced layering system, the Sirocco Lite jacket excels as an outer layer in mild conditions as well as a midlayer under a shell in harsher environments.

The Anti-Freeze Hooded Down Jacket guarantees comfort on the move, whether you’re a seasoned hill walker in need of a reliable, lightweight and easily packable jacket as part of your layering system, or simply seeking maximum warmth on a bitterly cold day.

Rounding out the range is the PrimaLoft-insulated Duality Jacket which, departing from Montane’s traditional layering approach, is an all-in-one answer to wintry weather.
