Hustle and bustle on the streets of Brixental: With the "Kirchberg Kost.Bar & Unplugged", the "Schau-zuichi-Markt" in Westendorf and the "S'Brixner Wednesday Festival", the region ensures a packed calendar of events throughout the summer. In addition to culinary specialties and the best musical entertainment, there is also an insight into the fascination of the old craft.
When regional and musical delicacies meet, then it's " Kost.Bar & Unplugged " in Kirchberg. On five evenings from mid-July to mid-August, the village square is transformed into a gourmet market with regional specialties. The feast for the palate is accompanied by a concert by the Kirchberg music band. The series of events starts on Friday, July 15th. On this evening, from 5 p.m., local innkeepers will serve their specialities, regional delicacies and suitable drinks on the village square. It means tasting, feasting and enjoying. From 8.15 p.m. there will also be treats for the ears. The music band Kirchberg provides the right musical treat with a concert in the square. And while the big visitors taste their way through the stands, the little ones head off into the world of stories. On all five dates at 6 p.m., 6.30 p.m. and 7 p.m. there is a Punch and Judy show on the village square. The shops of the Kirchberg merchants on the village square and in the vicinity of the village square remain open longer on the respective dates. The dates are July 15th and 22nd and August 5th, 12th and 19th.
"Zuichi shows" and enjoy in Westendorf
Every Thursday from 3.30 p.m. the past is brought back to life in Westendorf. At the “Schau-zuichi-Markt” visitors can look over the shoulders of old-time craftsmen turning, weaving, basket-weaving and more. But tradition is also very important when it comes to culinary delights. In addition to oven-fresh bread, cheese and bacon specialties, the countless stands also sell Kiachl like in grandma’s time and typical delicacies such as Brixentaler Brodakrapfen or potato pods. While the adults stroll through the Marktgasse, the children also have a lot to do at the "Schau-zuichi-Markt". A bouncy castle park, animation with music and dance and free pony rides await at the children's night. The hustle and bustle is accompanied by live music. The Westendorf merchants are also keeping their doors open longer this Thursday. The “Schau-zuichi-Markt” will take place until mid-September
