Thibeault, also known as M&H, was a member of Canada’s Alpine Development Ski Team from 1997 to 1998 and also worked at Alpine Canada as Manager, Media and Communications from 2004 to 2006.

A bilingual marketing and communications professional with more than 15 years of experience, Thibeault has worked for Domtar, Alcan (now Rio Tinto), the University of Calgary, cycling sports-tech startup 4iiii, as well as at the 2006 and 2010 Olympics. For seven years, she was Executive Director for Fast and Female, a North American-wide not-for-profit program working with female Olympians to inspire girls to stay in sport. More recently, she managed ACTIV8 Strategic Consulting, her private agency with clients in Alberta, Quebec, and Vermont.

Having grown up in St-Sauveur, Quebec, Thibeault completed high school at Burke Mountain Academy in Vermont. She earned her BA at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire where she was a member of the varsity tennis team and competed on the alpine skiing NCAA circuit, reaching All-American status. She obtained an MBA at the University of Sherbrooke in Québec.

Thibeault will report to Alpine Canada CEO, Vania Grandi, and have strategic focus on increasing philanthropic efforts and alumni relations. Her key goals will include expanding Alpine Canada’s Podium Club by developing and hosting fundraising events, and fostering an engaged community of ski team alumni.

Thibeault, who called Alberta home from 2004 to 2016, will be based in Bromont, Quebec where she recently relocated. She will be traveling across Canada to engage with the organization’s donors and alumni.
