Made for mountaineering and alpinists, the Broad Peak is designed with Pertex® Quantum which uses a tightly woven structure with incredibly fine yarns to provide a light and soft fabric, allowing the insulation inside to fully loft. Its durable water repellent (DWR) finish sheds light rain and snow to provide additional weather protection.
The Pertex Quantum comes with added Pertex Y Fuse technology. Unique Y shaped yarn filaments create a tightly interlocking structure, which improves the downproof and water beading properties of the fabric. It also results in a fabric that remains highly stable over extended wear and washing.
Inside you’ll find a responsibly soucred down and feather filling perfect for cold temperatures. Mammut Pro Mountaineer, Dani Arnold, chooses to wear the Broad Peak for its lightness, warmth and durability.
This is a practical jacket for movement and freedom in the mountains. Should the sun come out, the jacket packs down small and light and will fit into a backpack easily.
