Mammut Forges Strategic Alliances With North America’s Premier Ski Resorts For 2024/2025 Season
Mammut has announced its strategic partnerships with North America's most esteemed ski resorts, including Grand Targhee, Telluride, Sun Valley, Snowbasin, and Revelstoke, for the upcoming 2024/2025 season. These collaborations underscore Mammut's commitment to enriching the mountain experience through partnerships with resorts that share its core value of inspiring love for the mountains.
Mammut’s partnership program encompasses a suite of activations including uniforms and avalanche safety gear specifically built for and tested by resort employees. At the heart of these partnerships is Mammut’s dedication to providing unparalleled quality in mountain gear, setting a benchmark for safety and performance in the mountains. By doing so, it fosters a safer and more enjoyable mountain environment for staff and guests alike.
“Our resort partnership program is not prescriptive,” says Jake Gaventa, North American Partnership Director for Mammut. “Our partnerships evolve organically. We start with a partnership mission as our guidance and execute based on mutual values of safety, education, and inspiration for mountain culture. Our priorities include treating employees as ambassadors, providing educational and training resources, and being a conduit for elevating the guest experience”.
“Mammut is refining what it means to be a partner in the mountain sports industry,” states Kris Kuster, North American General Manager for Mammut. “We aim to provide more than just high-quality gear; we're here to contribute to a culture where safety, innovation, and passion for the mountains are fundamental. Our partnerships are about conveying our mountain safety knowledge, sharing our innovative spirit, and fostering a community that’s equipped to offer the best possible mountain experience to resort staff and guests. This holistic approach sets us apart and strengthens our efforts to ensure that everyone at the resort has a safe, enjoyable, and memorable time in the mountains.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Mammut as our outerwear and safety partner for the upcoming season and beyond,” said Pete Sonntag, Sun Valley Resort VP and General Manager. “Not only are we looking forward to outfitting our mountain staff and ski patrol teams in their high-quality, fully-featured gear but we’re excited to work with the Mammut brand to further enhance Sun Valley’s avalanche safety programming and community events and workshops which the resort hosts throughout the year.”
Initially developed in collaboration with Swiss-based Zermatters & Crans Montana, and further refined with staff input from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Powdr Resorts staff, the collection is based on Mammut’s Eiger Extreme Collection, with specific modifications to cater to the demands of the whole resort, valley to alpine, across all four seasons.
“This collection reflects listening to and caring about the people who work in our mountains so the rest of us safely ski and ride,” says Keith Lennig, Director of Partnership Sales North America. “Thoughtfully designed and constructed using premium 3L GORE-TEX PRO, these Mammut uniforms are celebrated for their outstanding durability, waterproofing, and breathability.”
As the partnerships commence in the 2024/2025 ski season, Mammut looks forward to deepening its relationships within the mountain sports community, continuing to inspire a love for the mountains, and reinforcing its position as the premier choice for resorts. Building on its existing partnerships with renowned resorts such as Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Killington, Eldora, Copper, Snowbird, Mt Bachelor, and Silverstar, Mammut is set to further solidify its reputation by collaborating with even more iconic destinations across North America.
