Mags Doehler Joins Alpine Canada As Vice-president, Partnerships & Marketing

Alpine Canada is pleased to welcome Mags Doehler to the organization as Vice-President, Partnerships & Marketing. Mags’ seventeen years of sport sponsorship marketing, sales, and global event leadership experience makes her an invaluable addition to Alpine Canada and to current and future marketing partners.

“Mags’ brings with her deep marketing partnerships experience on the brand, property and agency side of the business,” said Alpine Canada’s President & CEO Therese Brisson. “Her experience as a trusted sports and entertainment executive with a strong track record of delivering results against multiple priorities will be a huge asset for Alpine Canada as we build our business and a better future behind our Made for Canada Strategic Plan for ski racing in Canada.” 

Mags has spent her career in progressive leadership positions within amateur sports and entertainment including Harbourfront Centre, the Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games, TTG Partnerships, the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC), and the Canadian Olympic Committee.  Most recently, Mags served as Vice-President of Consulting at Wasserman Sports & Entertainment where she was the executive lead on numerous client relationships and led the organization’s consulting practice.

In her new role, Mags will lead the partnerships and marketing team responsible for building our brand and value proposition with a broader audience to drive revenue growth in support of our vison of being a world-leading ski racing nation. Her broad scope of responsibilities will include partner relations, partnership and marketing strategies, sales, and account management as well as fundraising and donor stewardship.  She will also lead Alpine Canada’s plans for branding, licensing, events, media, and communications.
