Some description

Telegraph events pulled the plug on the last version of the long lasting event in March 2020. The London ski show was established in 1973 firstly at London’s Royal Horticultural Halls in Westminster. In the late seventies the event moved to Earl’s Court and then London’s Olympia. In 2015 the show was reinvented as a partly outdoor festival event in London's Battersea park. Poor weather and a change in the snowsports market had made many in the industry doubt the event's long term future. Visitors numbers had falled to fewer than 17000 visitors over the three day event.

On the basis of the last year a show was run in the location the organiser's estimate of circa 16 000 visitors does not seem unrealsitic.
