Lietner look sback once again on an eventful year full of challenges and political and economic unrest. Despite that, by focusing closely on technological innovation around sustainability, the company performed exceptionally well at the cutting edge.
Customers have increasingly been asking for ecofriendly, economical products, which has shifted the spotlight firmly onto successful in-house developments.
As well as the LEITNER DirectDrive, which is already well established as the industry leading drive system in new ropeways, the new LEITNER EcoDrive was successfully launched and promises energy savings of up to 20%.
More and more alpine ropeways are being used in the summer season, which means utilizing existing infrastructure efficiently. LEITNER bicycle holders are an example of our innovative, convenient systems which accommodate this
leisure trend perfectly.
And in urban mobility, they’ve been delighted with progress on the patented ConnX® System. This unique hybrid solution combines ropeways with autonomous driverless transport, thereby promoting the use of electric mobility in public transport. ConnX® is expected to reach market maturity in the next two years. It continues LEITNER’s innovative, sustainable tradition.
