Leitner Offers A Whole New Seating Experience With Alta Badia’s "Costoratta" Chair

A whole new seating experience awaits all snow sports enthusiasts in Alta Badia (Italy): This winter season, the modern "Costoratta" 8-seater chairlift is in operation for the first time. For a length of 700 m and 216 m difference in altitude, the new LEITNER facility is equipped with 40 premium 8-seater chairs and weather protection hoods. It replaces the old 4-seater chairlift of the same name and - together with a downhill run - provides a convenient connection from Passo Campolongo to Corvara.
Incidentally, the "Costoratta" 8-seater chairlift is not the only LEITNER facility celebrating its premiere in Alta Badia this winter: Also the "La Brancia" 6-seater chairlift makes skiers happy for the first time.

The Costoratta is the first chairlift that you'll come across when you take the Sellaronda anti-clockwise: Located on the Campolongo Pass, it delivers you the Boè area, above Corvara, in less than two and a half minutes. The state-of-the-art detachable chairlift is the most modern in existence on the market today. The ultimate in ergonomic comfort, this eight-seater chairlift features protective bubble covers and, at full capacity, can transport 3,400 people per hour. Construction works also comprise a modern, comfortable access station that extends a warm, hearty welcome to all guests to Val Badia.
