LEITNER: New Gondola Lift At Olympic Ski Resort Of Jahorina,
New crowd favorite for the ski resort of Jahorina, Bosnia and Herzegovina: LEITNER's modern 10-seater gondola lift "Poljice" has been in operation since December 2021.
With a capacity of 3,600 people per hour, the new gondola lift starts directly in the village of Jahorina and is designed for year-round operation - a fun bobsled run attracts pleasure-seekers in summer. With its central location in the popular ski area close to the capital Sarajevo, it plays an important distribution role. It represents the very best of established components and the latest technology: While the underground garaging system has been retained, the station building has been newly constructed in Pininfarina design.
The best prerequisite for becoming a new favorite of the public is not only the high performance of the LEITNER DirectDrive, but also its extremely comfortable equipment. In addition to many "high-class" features, winter sports fans can enjoy individual seats with even more legroom, for example.
By the way: The new 10-seater gondola lift "Poljice" is not the first LEITNER installation around the former 1984 Olympic venue. Since the partnership with Jahorina began in 2009, LEITNER has built no less than seven ropeways there and has now continued to modernize with three more.
