Lech Bergbahnen AG Is Looking For A New Board Member / CEO From Autumn - Winter 23/24

Lech Zürs am Arlberg is one of the top destinations in the Alps and is considered the cradle of alpine skiing.

As CEO of Lech Bergbahnen AG, which is in the process of being founded, you are responsible for setting up and managing the merged companies and thus for the most important tourism service provider in one of the world's most renowned ski areas.

Grischconsulta has been commissioned by the cable cars and ski lifts in Lech with the overall management of the mountain railway merger. In this context, a new board of directors / CEO of the newly created company will also be appointed. Grischconsulta was commissioned to evaluate a suitable manager for this demanding task.

Lech Bergbahnen AG is the result of the merger of the largest ski lift and cable car companies in Lech, which are also part of the Arlberg West ski pool. Lech Bergbahnen AG will operate 14 facilities, several mountain restaurants and large parts of the winter and summer adventure areas in Lech for discerning guests.

We are looking for a dynamic and resilient personality with business, technical and/or commercial training. A college or university degree is an advantage. You have several years of track record in the successful management of a medium-sized service company, preferably in the tourism, leisure or transport sector.

Demonstrable specialist knowledge in the areas of strategy, marketing, finance, management, organization, human resources and team leadership round off your profile.

A high level of customer orientation, entrepreneurial thinking, assertiveness and negotiating skills enable you to lead the new Lech Bergbahnen AG successfully into the future right from the start.

You have organizational talent, are a proven team player and have an affinity for digital. Great commitment and the willingness to integrate in the Lech Zürs region, as well as stylish German and English are expected. A well-established network of contacts in tourism, business and authorities is an advantage.

Starting position in autumn 2023 or by arrangement.
