Lech Bergbahnen AG Has Completed Investment Program In Snowmaking & Piste Maintenance For Year.
Lech Bergbahnen AG has completed its investment program in snowmaking and piste maintenance for this year.
- 3 new piste machines from Prinoth, in the golden "Lech Edition", were recently delivered and will ensure the best pistes in Lech from winter onwards.
- A solo, a winch and a park machine were delivered for the new snow park at Schlegelkopf.
- All piste machines from Lech Bergbahnen AG were also equipped with snow depth measurements from the latest ARENA generation. This makes grooming even more efficient.
- 32 new and energy-efficient (approx. -40%) snowmaking machines from Supersnow, also in the "Lech Edition", complement the snowmaking system and make it even more powerful.
- 7 additional Medusa lances from Bächler support the snowmaking system with the best snow quality and the lowest energy consumption.
"In addition to the machines, we were also able to renew our employees' clothing and bring it into a uniform form and also into the "Lech Edition".
Lech Bergbahnen offer safety through 33 avalanche guards"
Lech Bergbahnen AG operates 33 avalanche guards in its area to ensure the best possible avalanche safety in the ski area.
In autumn 2024, the first 8 guards were converted to the new, more efficient control system with Inauen-Schätti AG. All other avalanche guards will be converted by 2026.
In addition, there are plans to install avalanche guards at five additional locations over the next two years to ensure even greater safety.
The relocation of the avalanche guards to all possible locations throughout the region was impressive. Thanks go to the employees of Lech Bergbahnen AG for their commitment to the safety of guests on the Arlberg.
