Lech Arula Chalets Unveils New Programming For Winter 2025 Season

Austria’s most exclusive chalet offering, The Arula Chalets is an alpine sanctuary perched above the picturesque village of Lech with ski-in/ski-out access, impeccable 24/7 service, and state-of-the-art wellness facilities. This winter, the adjoining chalets introduce three new packages—Summit Seekers, for adventurers who crave adrenaline-fueled experiences and expert mountain guidance, Arula-Après, for those who prioritise relaxation and indulgence after a day in the Alps, and Peaks & Plates, for cuisine connoisseurs who relish fine dining, culinary discovery, and alpine traditions.

For Adventurers: Summit Seekers Winter Sport Package

The Summit Seekers package is an unforgettable adventure for those seeking high-octane experiences on and off the slopes. The adventure begins with a full day of heli-skiing alongside double freeriding World Champion Nadine Wallner, with exclusive first-up morning access to Schneetäli and Mehlsack, offering pristine, untouched powder. The thrills continue the next morning with a downhill skiing masterclass led by Olympic Gold Medallist Franz Klammer, known as the "king of the downhill," where participants can refine their technique with world-class guidance. For a change of pace, the final day sees an exhilarating paragliding experience, soaring high over Lech's snowy peaks, while the afternoon is reserved for a heart-pounding ice-climbing session that challenges and inspires.

For Wellness Wanderers and Stylish Nights: Arula-Après Package

Designed for those who prioritise luxurious post-ski indulgence, the Arula-Après package offers a serene escape in the heart of the Alps. Guests will stay in the refined comfort of Arula Chalet 2, where their days are peppered with moments of pure relaxation. Daily bespoke 60-minute treatments with the in-chalet spa therapist tailoring sessions to individual needs provide ultimate rejuvenation; from deep tissue and hot stone massages to Augustinus Bader signature facials and a choice of cosmetic enhancements. The chalet is also home to an indoor swimming pool complete with roaring fire and waterfall feature, in addition to Finnish sauna, bio sauna with a daily aromatherapy menu, steam bath, infra-red cabin and outdoor hot tub for guests to sink into at their leisure. Post-treatment, relaxation rooms with water beds and Himalayan salt walls await. For those looking to nurture the mind and body through ayurveda, yoga therapist Anna Kanonier guides guests through daily energising morning flows, restorative evening yin, or the yogic tradition of mantras, using sacred sounds for inner stillness and contemplation. Ahead of the evening, an in-chalet shopping experience with Strolz, Lech’s iconic luxury outfitter will ensure a truly personal touch, allowing guests to curate their alpine wardrobe from the comfort of the chalet. As the sun sets, the private après-ski lounge comes to life with live music performances and signature cocktails creating an intimate and festive ambiance to end the day in style.

For Culinary Aficionados: Peaks & Plates

A celebration of alpine gastronomy and the culinary excellence of The Arula Chalets, the Peaks & Plates package invites guests on a journey through Lech’s vibrant food culture. Guests will savour a heli-drop private al fresco lunch, prepared by the chalet’s head chef, in a secluded mountain location with sweeping views. Back at the chalet, the culinary adventure continues with exquisite menus curated by The Arula Chalets’ head chef, perfectly paired with wine from the chalet’s exclusive ‘dine-in’ wine cellar, offering a bespoke dining experience. A paired wine and music tasting curated by Patrick Hupf, the in-chalet sommelier, will bring together rare vintages and live performances for a sensory experience like no other. For those eager to get hands-on, the chef leads private cooking classes where guests can learn to create traditional Austrian delicacies, followed by a patisserie-making session to master the art of crafting delectable alpine desserts. Guests looking to venture beyond the chalet can enjoy a snowmobile ride to the charming s'Älpele, a cozy mountain restaurant on the slopes known for its intimate atmosphere and cuisine. For a final taste of Lech, The Arula Chalets’ team will arrange a fondue evening on the chalet’s terrace. Guests can indulge in either a rich, velvety Austrian cheese fondue or a decadent chocolate version, paired with warming mulled wine or a selection of fine spirits, as they soak in the alpine serenity of Lech.
