Lars Bronnimann New Head Of Swiss Ski's Cross-Country Team
The National Ski Federation of Switzerland, Swiss-Ski, hired Lars Brönnimann as the new head of Cross-Country. The 38-year-old sports scientist will succeed Christian Flury this fall.
Brönnimann has been the coordinator of the young sports talent school classes in the city of Chur since 2016 and is responsible for ensuring that young athletes are given the best possible support on their way into competitive sports. Prior to that, he had worked for FIS Marketing AG for five years as project manager Cross-Country, which holds the overall responsibility for the implementation of marketing rights in at the World Cup.
The former orienteering elite runner is currently deepening his knowledge in the field of sports management with a CAS course at the Graubünden University of Applied Sciences.
