Largest Oktoberfest In White Mountains Expands To Three Days At Loon

White Mountain Oktoberfest has expanded to a three-day festival at Loon Mountain Resort.

Celebrate All Three Days
The largest Oktoberfest in the White Mountains returns Saturday, Sunday and Monday highlighting German food, drink, and entertainment along with a full schedule of activities. The event is held at the resort’s Governor Adams Lodge base area with live authentic oompah music from the Eastern Sound Orchestra. White Mountain Oktoberfest is supported by Samuel Adams, American Express and Snyder's of Hanover.

Keg Tossing, Stein Hoisting And More
Guests of all ages can take part in a variety of free games including the Root Beer Keg Toss, Stein Hoisting, Pretzel Maze, and much more. More free activities include axe throwing, face painting, and Touch-a-Truck. Additionally, families can make their own pretzel necklaces with help from Snyder’s of Hanover.

Fall Foliage At Loon Peak
To experience mountain-top views of fall foliage, visitors can ride the scenic White Mountain Express Gondola to the summit of Loon Peak. At the top, guests can explore Glacial Caves, Observation Tower, Nature Walk, hiking trails and an 18-hole disc golf course. The Gondola Skyride is open daily through October 15. Tickets are limited daily and should be reserved online in advance.
