La Rosiere Promotes Spring Skiing
Located at the end of the Tarentaise valley, at 1,850m, La Rosière has good snow condition all season. This year the resort opens until 24 April 2022. Spring is a wonderful time to enjoy La Rosière’s ski area, the Espace San Bernardo, which is linked to La Thuile in Italy.
Spring is the time to ski hard in the morning then enjoy a late lunch on a sunny terrace and some fun outdoor activities.
The best restaurants for an al fresco lunch
- New for winter 2021-22: La Brenva: Brenva means larch wood in the Aosta Valley dialect, and this is the very essence of the restaurant’s concept: everything is cooked on a log fire, either on a grill or in an oven, using various types of wood to give a different flavour to the meat (French breeds, Kobe beef, Black Angus, etc.), fish, vegetables and other side dishes. They also cater for vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan diets. The portions are adapted to children, so that they can choose from the same high-quality selection as their parents! The restaurant is located in the 4-star Alpen Lodge hotel and boasts a sunny terrace with beautiful views of Mont Pourri. larosiere.net/restaurant/la-brenva/
