La Rosiere Launches The Xperiences Pass

The Espace San Bernardo ski area connects La Rosière in France to La Thuile in Italy. With a total of 154km of slopes, it’s possible to ski into Italy and explore its culture, so distinct from those of its French counterparts, and yet so similar too. On both sides of the border the ski area features green and blue slopes, which are spacious and suitable for all skill level, making it a perfect ski area for families. There are also red and black slopes for the more daring!

This winter, La Rosière is launching the Xperiences pass.  The Xperiences pass lets holidaymakers choose from a huge range of leisure activities at the resort. The pass includes an extra half-day of skiing the day of your arrival; a First Track session where you’ll get to ski at dawn before breakfasting at the new highaltitude restaurant, PARADiS; free cancellation insurance (valid up to 2 days before arrival); not to mention a wide selection of non-skiing activities suitable for both young and old: ice-skating, cinema, X’Treme Luge monorail sled, outdoor laser tag and paintball. A 6-day Experience pass costs €286 for an adult and €227.50 for children between 5 and 12 years old.
La Rosière is a Famille Plus-accredited ski resort. Famille Plus is a national label that guarantees good services to families with children from 18 months old, as well as price to suit all budgets and all ages. In La Rosière, children under 5 years old ski for free. A 6-day pass for children aged 5 to 12 costs €195 and a 6-day adult pass costs €260. This is one of the cheapest lift passes in the Tarentaise Valley. Families of 4 and more can also benefit from a 10% discount. The 10% discount also applies for groups of friends or stepfamilies: no parentage needed.There is a beginner pass as well. For €21, beginners can access 5 lifts for 3 hours.
 
La Rosière welcomes toddlers. ESF (the French Ski School) has a club, the Club des Galopins, open to children aged between 18 months and 12 years. It operates on 2 sites, La Rosière Centre and Les Eucherts. The Baby Club is aimed at children between 18 months and 3 years and the Club Loisirs is for 3 to 12-year-olds. Lunch is available. Everything has been done to ensure both children and parents can make the most of their time here.
 
Discounts for families coming by train:  the ski resort’s management has decided to reward visitors who come as far as Bourg-Saint-Maurice by train. The Ski Area will offer all rail travellers a 15% discount voucher on their next ski pass. Accommodation providers are also offering these travellers certain services, which would normally have to be paid for, free of charge, such as the hire of linen.
