Krimson Klover Launches First Full Midlayer & Outerwear Program For 2020

At the Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show this January, Krimson Klover will launch an all new active outdoor and snowsports outerwear and midlayer collection for Winter 2020.

The inspiration for Krimson’s new outerwear line in the Active Essentials collection stems from the team’s travels and adventures.

“Our goal is to create no-fuss, active, stylish, and comfortable performance pieces you can travel, ski, work and play in, on the slopes and around town,” explains Rhonda Swenson, founder and owner of Krimson Klover. “The 2020 collection features more layers, reversible vests, bonded down pull-overs, hybrid jackets, and matching insulated skirts.”

A variety of full jackets, reversible vests, and merino hybrids make up this new line from Krimson Klover. The Active Essential midlayer offerings combine the natural technical performance of extrafine merino with new faux fur, merino-nylon blends, poly fill, and duck down for added warmth, durability, and a luxurious hand-feel.

The reversible Sela Vest is offered in three patterns with a solid side and a Mountain-inspired motif that can be worn inside or out. A first from Krimson Klover is the Sugarloaf Jacket (featured at the top), a full-zip merino blend hoodie with zippered pockets, flattering side ponte stretch panels, DWR 120-gram poly fill, and embroidered KK patch. The hoodie is a clever, no-fuss winter solution that is dressy, warm, and versatile for on the mountain or around town.

Krimson has developed the new plush faux fur Katia Jacket and Veronika Vest. Both styles are full-zip with a thoughtfully finished and playful “Suzy Q” lining—a nod to the first of her kind in alpine acrobatics: the iconic Suzy Chaffee. The jacket and vest feature ultrasoft swirl textured faux-fur fleece, boiled merino trims, and lined and secure zipper pockets. Both are available in snow and black.
