Krimson Klover Introduces Glam To Its 2021 Ski Collection
Krimson Klover, the activewear company created by women, for women, announces Girl PWR, a Glam ski collection. =
The brand looks back to leap forward, reminiscing about the carefree days of the early ’60s with bold floral prints and bright colors. The fall 2021 collection bridges nostalgia with modern fiber blends, fresh silhouettes and rich textures.
“In this collection, we found a return to retro with a modern lens, searching for a sense of escapism,” said Rhonda Swenson, owner and designer.
The 1960s were synonymous with the glam era of ski fashion. On the slopes, skiers would don tight ski pants, colorful handknit sweaters and tall wool hats. Innovations including the short ski were invented, making skiing accessible to the masses. And après-ski was born.
Top fabrics and fills from Krimson Klover for 2021 include:
The Vixon baselayer featuring original illustrations made of a recycled poly blend with spandex and a brushed interior for comfort. The high collar and deep zip front offer temperature regulation and moisture-wicking odor control.
Stevie and Briar Jackets and Ember Vest, shown below, are constructed using neutral-colored poly faux fur fleece for easy pairing with a deep pile Berber and retro orange/red stripe down a stretch side panel. A full YKK zip and side pockets complete the comfort styling.
Après All Day Top and Jogger made of 70 percent wool/30 percent cashmere blended mercerized yarns and carry the Good Cashmere Standard certification.
The Après All Day has a shorter front length than the back, a boxy fitting hoodie, sweater knit ties, wide stripes down the side seams, raised textured Après knit at the front (on the black and mid-grey colorway), and a non-textured, Après knit in the front (on the Indigo color).
The Après All Day Jogger offers a 28-inch inseam in mercerized wool and cashmere with sweater knit ties and stripe down the leg. Mercerized wool is treated wool that is shrink- and pill-resistant and machine washable.
Krimson Klover’s collections can be found in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, the UK, Italy, France, Spain, Russia, Czech Republic, Japan, and Canada.
