Kitzbuhel - EcoKitz Ideas Competition. Employees Provided Sustainable Ideas For The Future
KitzSki is pushing the implementation of measures to increase sustainability. That is why the ecoKitz ideas competition was launched in-house. A jury selected four winning projects from the 35 submitted projects. The projects include ideas for increasing the energy efficiency of operating systems, saving energy and generating electricity in operating systems, designing creative sustainability concepts and establishing resource-saving operating processes.
Energy efficiency, climate protection and sustainability affect all areas of life and will greatly influence the future quality of life. Bergbahn Kitzbühel takes measures to save energy and resources in the long term and to implement sustainable concepts in all areas of the company. “Involving employees in this process is the first important step towards sustainability. About the ecoKitz ideas competition
Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel launched the ecoKitz ideas competition in summer 2020. All employees of the mountain railway were called upon to submit their ideas by the end of the year. The awarding of the winning projects took place in March 2021.
The four winning projects at a glance
