Killington Resort Cruises Into Fall - Fun Events For The Whole Family

Vermont’s Killington Resort, the largest four-season resort in Eastern North America and a POWDR company, looks forward to a fall stacked with mountain biking, golf and other fun events for the whole family.

“When the leaves start to change, we don’t just start getting excited for winter,” says Killington Resort President and General Manager Mike Solimano. “Autumn events at The Beast take advantage of Mother Nature’s incredible show and cooler temps to heat things up for a great time.”

Take a scenic gondola ride to the peak through October 15 to witness Vermont’s spectacular foliage from 4241’ and explore the network of hiking and biking trails all autumn long. The Golf Course remains open for rounds 7 days a week through October 15, and there’s even more to discover resort-wide, including world-class dining options at Preston’s Restaurant in the Killington Grand Hotel and the new K-1 Lodge.

Events kicked off at the end of August with the first Foundation Women’s Freeride Progression Weekend. Labor Day weekend plays host to the final adult bike camp of the year, focusing on jumps and drops. On Sept. 16-17, we welcome endurance athletes for the Spartan Race and take some swings for charity at the Not So Chilly Golf Tournament on Sept. 24. The world’s best mountain bikers embark on Ramshead for the return of the US Open of Mountain Biking Sept. 21-24. Tantalize your senses with the best local craft brews at Pico Mountain as September concludes, then check out a variety of fun at the Harvest Faire on Oct. 7. Cap off the season with the Maxxis Eastern States Cup: Downhill Finals on Oct. 14-15.
