Whistler Film Festival 4 – 8 December
The Whistler Film Festival is a five-day festival filled with premieres, famous attendees, celebrations and unique industry initiatives. It features global innovative and original films, plus opportunities to connect with the people who made them. It includes juried competitive sections, the Borsos Awards, and thePandora Audience Award. This year sees 86 films plus 10 talent programs,including screenwriters labs and a music showcase.

Viessmann Luge World Cup and BMW Sprint World Cup 13 – 14 December
Watch the world’s fastest luge athletes on ice as they compete at the Whistler Sliding Centre for the World Cup titles. Competitions include the Men’s, Women’s, Doubles and Sprint races. Whistler is the third stop on the World Cup luge circuit, hosting more than 100 athletes and representing more than 20 countries that blast down the Olympic Track at speeds up to 130 km/h. Guests can also enjoy food tucks, a beer stand, DJ Foxy Moron, fireworks (Friday night), a photo booth and a BC Luge Fundraising Puck Drop.

Whistler Pride and Ski Festival 26 January – 2 February 2020
2020 will mark the 27th Annual Whistler Pride and Ski Festival. Whistler will host one of the biggest gay and lesbian ski weeks in North America. The LGBTQI pride week includes a jam-packed week of events, skiing, snowboarding, parties, arts and culture. Plus this event kicks off winter pride celebrations for around the world.

World Ski and Snowboard Festival April 2020, Dates TBD
Known to locals as WSSF, the World Ski and Snowboard Festival blends spring energy with Whistler's unique mountain culture for a festival of non-stop events and action on and off the slopes. There is music, art, photography, filmmaking, ski and snowboard competitions and non-stop nightlife, plus some of the best skiing and après sessions of the season.

GO Fest– Whistler’s Great Outdoor Festival 15 – 18 May 2020
May is a month of magic where both summer and winter meet. GO Fest, a four-day festival over the Victoria Day holiday long weekend celebrates this intersection of seasons with the aim to get everyone outside and revel in Whistler’s great outdoors.
