With the ski season quickly approaching, the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club has ramped up its fundraising efforts. The Ski Club officially launched the Bill Campbell Legacy Endowment, set to provide financial stability to the team for years to come.

The Bill Campbell Legacy Endowment was established with guidance from Bill’s family as a means to provide operational stability for the future of the Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club. The endowment will ensure the Club’s accessibility and competitive offerings for future generations of skiers and snowboarders in the Jackson community.

Bill Campbell fostered a deep passion for ski racing and believed wholeheartedly in the Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club and our mission of building Champions in sport and life. ⁣

Bill served loyally on the club's Board for 12 years, watching his grandkids progress through JHSC’s Alpine program, and participating in Pica’s Margarita Cups, Ski Balls, Ski Swaps, and Town Downhills. He was always smiling, joking, and willing to listen. Bill was an integral member of our JHSC community who never stopped thinking about the Club: it’s impact, its potential, and its long-term sustainability. ⁣

To honor Bill’s legacy and with the support and guidance from Bill’s loving family, the JHSC is thrilled to announce the Bill Campbell Legacy Endowment, an operating endowment that supports long-term sustainability and ensures accessibility to world-class ski & snowboard programming for future generations. ⁣

As a former JHSC Board President who was engaged with the Club for 13 years, Bill knew first hand that the Club’s operations would be bolstered with an operating endowment, allowing JHSC to weather future unexpected financial turns. With the growth of this endowment, the JHSC will be able to increase support for athletes, retain athletes across the financial spectrum and expand competitive opportunities for all aspiring champions.

Bill understood that athletic accomplishments do not define an individual, but the values and habits that are taught through athletics can shape an individual’s success.

Special thanks to Bill’s wife, Faye Campbell, daughters Corrinda Campbell, and Darcey Prichard, and son Bain Campbell.
