ISPO Munich 2025 has a new date: the leading trade fair for the sports industry will take place in Munich from 30 November to 2 December 2025. The conscious decision to reschedule ISPO Munich seeks to offers numerous advantages for exhibitors and visitors. Among other advantages, the postponement makes it easier for retailers to attend the event and creates additional space for sharing and inspiration. Exhibitors who register between now and 24 April benefit from the early bird price.
“The new date is a first step in further adapting ISPO Munich to the diverse needs of the industry”, says Lena Haushofer, Exhibition Director of the ISPO Group. ISPO Munich will take place from 30 November to 2 December 2025 and thus two days earlier than previously planned. Above all, the inclusion of a Sunday (30 November) gives retailers the opportunity to attend the trade fair without stress and without neglecting their day-to-day business. This creates more time for discovery, discussion and strategic decisions. Our goal is to further enhance ISPO Munich, establishing it as a first-class platform that supports the entire sports business value chain.
NEW HALL LAYOUT AND OPTIMISED TRADE FAIR CONCEPT
The new structure of the exhibition halls is organized into three areas along the value chain: Brands & Products forms the heart of ISPO Munich, offering ample opportunities for established and new brands, as well as up-and-coming start-ups, to present their new products and innovations for tomorrow’s trends. The Upstream & Supply area provides an optimal platform for sustainable materials and innovative production processes. Commerce & Experience focuses on the distribution, marketing and experience of sports products in order to find the best solutions for the connection between products and consumers.
The Expo and Convention Area will put an even stronger focus on networking and knowledge transfer. Renowned Sports Tech Nation will be back, along with SPORT BRAND MEDIA, which started out as SPORT MARKE MEDIEN in 2024 and is now expanding internationally thanks to its ongoing success. Further conferences are already in the pipeline. The West Entrance will become an experience hub, creating a seamless connection between the Expo and Convention areas and ensuring efficient sharing.
The new hall concept of ISPO Munich 2025 will result in an optimised trade fair structure that provides participants with a more accurately targeted and effective event experience. “The new structure of ISPO Munich’s campus creates genuine added value for all business professionals. Its alignment along the entire value chain reflects the core of the trade fair and showcases the entire sports industry in all its facets”, explains Christoph Rapp, Head of Sales & Marketing.
