INTERALPIN Previews Individual Exhibitors

At the 24th INTERALPIN 2023, all key players and technology leaders in the global cable car and alpine technology industry will present groundbreaking product innovations.

The INTERALPIN, which takes place every two years, is the world's leading trade fair for alpine technologies. It is the central platform for new products and innovations as well as a place of pilgrimage for the entire cable car industry. The world as a guest in Tyrol, one could formulate the presence of all market-leading manufacturers and innovative companies.

The INTERALPIN can confirm its position as the world's leading trade fair for alpine technologies in its 24th edition, says congress and trade fair director Christian Mayerhofer, managing director of the organizer Congress Messe Innsbruck (CMI) and looks back on 2019: "I was very pleased that the immense internationality and quality of the trade visitors have confirmed the 23rd INTERALPIN as the absolute number one among all cable car and alpine technology trade fairs. The entire Innsbruck/Tyrol region was the focus of the global cable car world for three days and was also able to look forward to a very strong booking situation from a tourist point of view.” The 24th INTERALPIN will take place from April 19th to 21st, 2023 at the Innsbruck exhibition center.

INTERALPIN 2023 - together back to old strength

"In the 24th edition, we will continue to expand the thematic leadership of INTERALPIN as the world's leading trade fair, among other things with the INSPIRATION DAYS newly developed in 2019," explains INTERALPIN project manager Stefan Kleinlercher. “The sessions revolve around the topics of digitization, sustainability and marketing. The great interest in the INTERALPIN INSPIRATION DAYS underpins the forward-thinking of the industry and encourages us to further develop this format.”

The immense innovation and investment power of the industry will return at INTERALPIN 2023 and continue on the successful path that began in 1974.

The 2nd INTERALPIN Inspiration Days will take place as part of the leading international trade fair. On April 20th and 21st, 2023, industry experts will present a first-class program all about innovation, marketing, sustainability and digitization for staging, marketing and future orientation on the mountain.

"The INTERALPIN Inspiration Days are a young, successful format that was well received by the industry when it premiered in 2019 and with its second edition is intended to underline and further expand the thematic leadership of INTERALPIN," explains Christian Mayerhofer, Managing Director of the organizer Congress Messe Innsbruck. At the world's leading trade fair, the issues of positioning, marketing and digitization are addressed even more strongly. Sustainability will also be an issue. Keynotes, panel discussions and company presentations address the specialist audience with the latest findings and solutions.

The INTERALPIN Inspiration Days will open with a keynote speech by Eduardo Santander, Executive Director of the European Travel Commission based in Brussels. His lecture "An outlook into the future of European tourism" will deal with the future of alpine tourism in the context of the current political and economic situation in Europe. Over the two days there will be a total of 14 practical lectures on the topics of marketing and data, sustainability in alpine tourism and innovation on the mountain.

"Between the individual sessions, there is enough time for the participants to use the entire trade fair," says INTERALPIN project manager Stefan Kleinlercher. Trade fair visitors can thus select individual lectures that are of interest to them from the program. "This results in a valuable additional benefit for the participants during the INTERALPIN in the form of knowledge transfer and at the same time the opportunity for the companies involved to have an attention-grabbing presence", emphasizes the project manager. For visitors, participation in the INTERALPIN Inspiration Days can be booked at a reduced rate of only € 5.00 per session. Online bookings in advance of the trade fair are requested and advisable due to the limited number of places.
