INTERALPIN 2025 Extended To Four Days

In April 2023, more than 35,000 international trade visitors from around 130 countries confirmed INTERALPIN's position as the world's leading trade fair for alpine technologies. The leading trade fair was able to achieve growth of around 20 percent in the number of top-class international trade visitors from almost 130 nations compared to the previous event. Around 650 exhibiting companies presented the key new products and innovations in the industry.

After the successful conclusion of INTERALPIN 2023, the next good news about the world's leading trade fair for alpine technologies follows: The 25th edition of the international cable car industry meeting place, which takes place every two years, will take place over 4 days for the first time in 2025. The new period extends from Tuesday, May 6th to Friday, May 9th, 2025. The organizers cite the expansion of the offering and optimization of visitor flows as the reason for the additional day.

Due to high demand, the Congress Messe Innsbruck (CMI), the organizer of INTERALPIN, together with the key players in the industry, has decided to extend the 25th edition of the trade fair in May 2025 by one day.

“Recreation and exercise in natural spaces or mobility in metropolitan areas are becoming increasingly important and the demand for efficient, safe and sustainable solutions is increasing. The exhibitors at INTERALPIN are concentrating on this with their extraordinary innovative strength. Additional scope for networking and content

The opening of INTERALPIN will also take place in 2025 as the last program item of the Austrian Cable Car Conference of the Cable Car Association. On the second and third days, trade visitors have the opportunity to take part in the INTERALPIN Inspiration Days. This format offers excellent speakers and discussion participants on industry topics such as innovation, marketing, digitalization and sustainability. The program is ideally tailored to the target groups, with an international industry network meeting taking place during and around INTERALPIN with the friendly support of the Austrian and Tyrol Chamber of Commerce or a member seminar of the international association of cable car manufacturers OITAF. INTERALPIN project manager Stefan Kleinlercher knows that the extension can enable additional exchange and content offerings:

“With the extension of INTERALPIN we can increase the added value of INTERALPIN for international trade visitors. This creates even more opportunities for intensive discussions and a quality trade fair visit. And the INTERALPIN Gala is already being planned, and this is all the more exciting in view of the small anniversary of the 25th edition of INTERALPIN from 6th to 9th. May 2025.”
